This is definiely the best personal computer out there. It has just as many features as Windows, and then some! It's not customizable in all the same ways, but makes up for that elsewhere. Ease of use is definitely 10 out of 5. Heads and shoulders above any other operating system- especially Windows! It takes about 10 minutes to set it up when you unpack it.

Once you're set up, there's no limit to what you can do. Import photos, music, or movies, and burn them to a DVD with the slot-loading SuperDrive. Create a slideshow in seconds, and enjoy the 20" screen to see your photos in their full glory for the first time!

Plug and play is great on Mac OS X, as well as Drag'nDrop- take a snapshot with the built-in webcam, drag it to your Instant Messenger window, and it sends it automatically.

I really don't have many complaints with the computer. It is the sales and tech support where the problem lies. The sales staff weren't as up front as I would have preferred about the ease of set up. Had to reinstall the operating system within 24 hours. The sales staff are high pressure and lots of hidden tech support and classes that if you don't take them it is somewhat difficult to switch from a pc to mac. The onlone tutorials are extra too!! Not a great deal of information contained in the instructions.

The real problem is the customer relations and tech support. It is terrible! Rude and abrasive. The company now needs to focus on this area. I am paying for the service to treat me badly.....go figure!! Hide Full Review

I am a recient switcher from windows. I picked an Imac because I can run Parallels on it and still us all of my old windows software.



The monitor is impressive. Setup was easy, and I am slowly getting away from my windows software to Apple software. Iphoto is great, Mail App is simple and easy to use. I still use ms office and autocad in windows. I may purchase Iworks soon.



My wife uses it most of the time just surf the net and send email.



OSX is pretty easy to use, however I do have some complaints about Finder. File Explorer gave me more options for sorting and better file information.



Installing Apps in OSX is a lot easier than Windows. Just drag it onto your desktop and its done! Want to uninstall it? Just drag it to the trash. Hide Full Review

This is, quite simply, the best purchase i have ever made.

I would recommend it to anyone, especially now that you can easily run all your windows-only games and apps on your mac, using Apple's 'boot camp' software.

I can't really pin any flaws on it, except that the imacs are limited to 3gb RAM which could become a problem 2-3 years down the track. Which reminds me, if you do a bit of gaming, consider the graphics card upgrade. If you use fairly demanding applications (like design apps), definately consider an upgrade to 2gb RAM. I did and i'm very happy with the performance.

Very difficult to make this computer crash, I haven't managed to do it yet.

Just get one. Seriously. You will be soooo happy.

1 hour on your new mac and you will see why apple fans rave about them so much!
