MP3 Players : COBY MP-C827

I don't understand why a music store would sell a product that is NOT compatable to any downloading sites. You can't find COBY anywhere on any site. I am actaully returning this product. I spent 2 hours making a playlist to send to this device and it couldn't be found or compatable. I don't recommend this product to someone who justs wants to download music on a MP3 player. I bought this from electronic express (first mistake), they sell crap to begin with and don't let you get a refund.

Worked for about a month, except the head phone jack. I had to put a rubber band around the base of the male end, because if it went in too deep the sound would disappear. Now the unit does not work at all. No display. Hard to tell if the unit was on or off. Can not fast forward or rewind songs... might as well buy an 8-track tape. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this product and electronic express. Electronic Express would not give me a refund, but instead offered a gift card. Hide Full Review

This is, by far, one of the worst electronic devices on the planet. I had mine for about a week before it broke. the sound button had gotten stuck and always played as loud as it could. as far as battery life, i spent more on batteries than i did for the player itself. there are only 3 buttons on the device that control sound, tracks and play/pause. A smarter idea is to invest in a little more expensive device, and get better quality. Hide Full Review

I wanted a very simple MP3 player to use while doing housework.

What I love about it is....
(1) Like my Ipod shuffle it connects directly to the USB Slot in my computer with no cords, which I can lose.

(2) It is powered by ordinary batteries so it is no big whoop if I run out of juice.

(3) It does not hold much music, so putting music onto the player is wicked fast. When the MP3 player is connected to the computer it becomes a seperate drive. I just drag music from it's file on my harddrive to the Mp3 player

(4) Sound quality to my ears, is just as good as that of my Ipod Shuffle.

(5) It is inexpensive. I bought my first for $14.99 at ToysRUs and since then have bought a few more. I bought a few more because I have one for each of the Primary CD's I listen to. Just stick my headphones into my choice of the day and off I go. Hide Full Review

I BOUGHT THIS PLAYER AT A LOCAL KMART STORE. I DIDN'T HAVE MUCH TO SPEND AND AT THE PRICE OF $19.98 I COULDN'T PASS IT UP. IT PLAYED CLEAR, CRISP MUSIC FOR ABOUT A MONTH. THE LOADING AND UNLOADING OF MP3'S ON MY WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER WENT FINE. AND THEN OUT OF THE BLUE, IT STARTED CRASHING MY COMPUTER AND WOULD FREEZE UP EVERYTHING. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO ANYTHING WITH IT SINCE. IT WILL PROBABLY BE THROWN AWAY SOON. Hide Full Review
