It seems the two other reviews are rathers
assessments of the mechants they bought these speakers from
and not the items themselves. Don\'t let those bad
scores mislead you, because these are wonderful speakers
that I\'ve hooked up to my older Sony stereo receiver.
Although they can\'t be played extremely loud, the sound
these speakers produce at a louder-than-average
listening level is incredible. From the beautiful highs of
the 3/4" tweeter to the lows of the 8" woofer, and
the sound produced from the 4" midranges, these
speakers have made my study sound like a completely
different listening environment rather than a small room
with sound-deadening bookcases on all sides.
Affordable and impressive, when purchased from a reputable
merchant, these speakers are remarkable in their own right

tHIS IS NOT A pair !!!! Trust me , Thank God my
cc had my old billing address , or I wouldn\'t have
known that it is JUST 1 speaker ...I called the Online
Store , not exactly first class , they authorized the
hec out of my credit card....I cancelled the order ,

I ordered my speakers from DirtCheapAudio about 4-5 days ago and they are here already....UPS ground. They placed the order immediately. They also have the lowest prices of all the dealers. I am more then happy with DirtCheapAudio and plan on buying from them a lot more. Hide Full Review

First, a note to YAHOO...be a little more
critical of the businesses you decide to sponsor in this
shopping circuit. Be advised, the electronics store "Aroma
Unlimited" is to be AVOIDED. Get this, they sent no
confirmation and didn\'t reply to my emails or phone calls for
four days. Finally, I get them on the line and they
don\'t know who I am. We play a NEW order over the phone
that is to be sent out immediately. The next morning
at 6 AM PST, they call me to inform me that they
rejected the order. Why I ask? Because according to them,
the LA branch of UPS is prone to breaking fragile
objects and the sale isn\'t worth their time. What the
hell? Like Cleveland or Miami is any better??? So, make
sure you pay attention to the company you buy from and
also, read the review above...I was this close to
getting screwed for that "pair" of speakers... Hide Full Review

As the Heading states I "TRIED" to buy a "PAIR"
of speakers from Yahoo Shopping and J&R Music? I
ordered the "PAIR" of speakers and when the shipment
arrived there was only one speaker in the package. I
called J&R\'s customer service and they told me they sold
those speakers seperatly not as a "PAIR".I "TRIED" to
explain that the order comfirmation stated a"PAIR" and
even e-mailed J&R 3 different things that I recieved
stating a "PAIR" but the only thing that was said by J&R
was this..."You better buy another one because the
price is going up in a few days" !!This cost me $20.73
to ship this package back to J&R and I still have no
speakers!!! It will be a while before I Use Yahoo Shopping
again. I will also NEVER buy ANYTHING from J&R Music. I
used to enjoy shopping on-line but..this has prompted
