Digital Cameras : Kodak EASYSHARE V610 Dual Lens

This is a GREAT camera! I love everything about this. I have had four different Kodak cameras in the past year and this by FAR is the best. It's got 6.1MP, which makes for wonderfully detailed photos. It also has 10X optical zoom and 4X digital zoom, for a total of 40X zoom! It also has panorama stitch mode, video recording with audio AND 10X zoom during video capture. I love it, love it, love it!! I love my camera so easy to use. With its features that enabled to take extremely high quality pics, it can be carried everywhere - so small (4.4 x 2.2 x 0.9 inches) where bulkier same standard camera cannot e.g. outdoor sports . Without a pc, I could even combine 3 pics into a panorama and share my pics with my family and friends in a few minutes with the help of the bluetooth and the KODAK EASYSHARE Printer Dock Plus Series 3. Have owned the camera for awhile and held off writing a review to allow me to get over the "honeymoon" period.

The camera was designed great. Very compact, drop in your pocket and go. If you are going on a long trip, bring an extra battery. Battery life isnt so well. The zoom is superb but at full zoom, thinks get shaky. Focusing is tough sometimes, but rarely does it have a problem. Zoom is also slow, especially switching between lenses.

I also wish the image review on the LCD screen was full quality.

The buttons are easy to figure out and the menus are very easy to use. Startup is really good and is ready to go in an instant.

Overall, I bought this camera to grab and take with me on outtings. It takes decent pictures and is great companion for hikes, short trips and events. Its images are decent enought for 5X7 prints and possibly 8X11. The image color is great. Its compact design is superb and functions nicely.
But if you intend on getting great image quality and function and dont mind have something not as compact, choose the Canon s3 or SonyH1 or H2. Hide Full Review

I've only been playing with this camera for a day and I love it already. I've only used it in auto mode, but I can zoom in on a can halfways across the room and read the letters on it in the pic. That's amazing.

It's small enough to carry around in my purse so I'll always have it with me.

I had a little trouble getting the Bluetooth up and working with the Plus 3 printer dock, but eventually figured it out. I think I was having more of a computer issue than a camera/printer issue.

I don't think anyone will be disappointed with this camera. Hide Full Review
