Cell Phones : LG VX10000 Voyager

I got this phone on tuesady and so far i love it.The touch screen is very responsive, I haven't had a problem. Dialing numbers is easy and the talk quality is exceptional. The internet so far from what I've seen is fast. I know everyone is complaining about the Wi-Fi, but it's fine, there isn't a hotspot everywhere.The keyboard when you flip the phone open is wonderful. It's big and spacious and is easy to type text messages, etc. In many ways, the LG Voyager is a real iPhone competitor, perhaps even the first touchscreen phone to come close. It has a great video option in V Cast Mobile TV, and, with some setup, the Voyager could even be a good music phone, if you take the time to sideload your own music. Hide Full Review

I have had this phone for about a week and it is awesome, i have used the tv, navigation, and all of it's function and have only charged the battery once right when i bought it. The screens are crystal clear. This phone to me is better than the iphone in it's own ways, i don't listen to a whole lot of music unless i am in my truck so the iphone would do me any good. I have owned my phone for four months. The LG Voyager is a great phone compared to its more expensive competition. The screen is just large enough without being gaudy and the vibrate colors make the TV well worth the $15.00 per month to use. Verizon gets reception where others do not so that is a plus in itself. The voice feature is audible and pronuciates words very well, allowing you to preview clearly who is calling or having your messages read aloud. Purchase the Body Glove protector, I have dropped my phone a few times and have had no problems with its operation. While it does charge quickly, the battery life is not as long as I would like it to be. Many phone camera buffs also will not like the camera but for what most camera pictures are used for it will suffice. If you are looking for something rather advanced without the advanced price tag, this is the phone for you and it has the parental features as well. Hide Full Review

It's a beautiful phone. Fantastic for texting,emailing and especially playing music...but the actual phone quality sucks.

I could barely hear the person on the other end and I was told a number of times in my two-week stint with the gadget that I sounded like a robot.

I take public transportation, so it gets loud if I try to use the phone. The volume was soo low that I always had to wait until I got home to use my land line. I could never clearly hear the person on the other end.

Finally after two-weeks of REALLY wanting it to work I had to return it. It just wasn't pratical. Not to mention the touch screen would freeze up periodically and I had to do a "restart" a few times.

A shame...but I'll try it again when the technology progresses. In the mean time I have a Chocolate 3 and it ROCKS! Hide Full Review
