Cell Phones : MOTORAZR maxx Ve

Well I purchased the KRZR for my wife and I enjoyed the MP3 features that phone had. I beleive it too has a 2 MP camera. The phone has a great battery life and I am able to sit and listen to the mp3 player at work for 6 hours non spot between calls and it doesnt die. Camera takes very nice pictures especially in bright open spaces. More lght better quality. For me the size and weight are exactly what I was waiting for in a new phone. Previous was the v710 and it was the right size for my hands. Not too narrow and a little wider than a KRZR.



I absolutely hate the menu not enough programming options only 5 from the menu button instead of 9 like the v710. It makes switching between features cumbersome. TXT features are horrific compared to what I am used to but only time will tell if I will change my mind. OTher than that MP3 picture and sound transfer is a pain even with Motorola Phone tools. Havent used VZW sortware but I am sure that I will have to pay to load my phone up with mp3's or ringtones. Hide Full Review

I recently owned a KRAZR and I loved it, but it recently broke from water damage. I bought my RAZR maxx for full price, and it is worth it!!!!

the screen is huge, the sound clarity is perfect, and the camera is outstanding! I would buy another one any day! I have no complaints!

I've owned the european version of the ROKR, the L6, and an old flip phone which I can't remember to clearly. This phone by far blows them all away. My only complaint is about the ringtones. You are forced into using the tones that come with the phone, or buy them from verizon. Considering every other phone I've owned before this one, allowed me to do that, this one fails horribly. I purchased this phone last week. I like the looks and am getting used to the operation of it. I do however not like that I can not down load any pictures from my computer to the phone, and I can not down load any music from my computer to use as a ring tone. You must if you want to use different ring tones or music purchase a memory card, and a special usb cable to down load purchased music from VCast. These are the 2 things I dislike about the phone. I am a verizon customer and have been told that this is their policy. I think it needs changing so that you can use your own music, ring tones, and pictures from your computer. This is a really good phone an update to the regular Razr V series I have had 2 of those. Has better battery but I would still get an extended battery for longer usage. The Micro SD is good storage but transfers would be better if you could just use as an additional hard drive like the LG 8700. I tried the LG but the phone doesn't have the solid feel of the Maxx. All in all the Maxx is a definite upgrade and just as nice as the V9. The only true low is the Verizon price for upgraders. I would probably wait a bit longer until the price fell below $100. not the $200 it is now! Don't buy it as an MP3 player buy it as a very reliable cell phone. Hide Full Review
