HDTV & Televisions : Panasonic CT-27HL14

I am totally disappointed with this TV. It died after one year of use - suddenly a "pop!" and then no picture. Panasonic warranty only covers labor, not parts. It costs more to have an "authorized service center" work on it than to buy a new TV set. What a waste of money.

Really the only good thing about this TV was that it fit nicely in our entertainment center. It's hard to find a 27" TV that's less than 30" wide. Hide Full Review

purchased in sept. of 2005.dead in 38 days. panasonic refused to exchange or refund.so did circuit city.used panasonics authorized repair service.they had the unit for over 3 weeks.they returned it with obvious signs the unit was not repaired properly.panasonic now wants unit picked up again.i must then wait for a rep. to decide whether or not to try and repair or replace.sceptical of either. Set was great but the picture tube died on 8/6 340 days after purchase - heard the sound but the picture was gone. Took it in for service, part is on back order and was due in 9/6 but nothing yet. Have received no meaningful response from the company yet but in my opinion they should be covering the whole repair. In retrospect, should never have purchased with so little warranty. Poor product, poor service, poor owner who won't buy a Panasonic product again unless they dazzle me soon. Hide Full Review
