Home Video : Sony DVP-NS700P

I sold my old Sony DVD player and upgraded to this one. This DVD player was also mentioned in Home Theater Magazine as the choice in their affordable high-end home theater system. This has the component outputs and progressive scan. My old Sony dvd player was not progressive scan and did not have component outputs. The picture difference can be seen in the small details of the image, edges of people/buildings/large scene shots. Worth it even if you dont have a TV to handle the progressive image. I got mine from Lets Go Digital when it first came out and had a positive buying experience, allot cheaper then Best Buy or Circuit City! Hide Full Review

A very good bargin for the features contained with top-flight performance. No non-sense front panel, good on-screen programming, good remote. Performs spot-on especially through the component outputs, with clean and bright colors, no distortion, and smoothe transitions. I just got the Sony 700P dvd player. At first it was hard to figure out the remote. Too many buttons. But, once I got the hang of it WATCH Out. I connected it to a 32" HDTV set. WOW talk about life like. I highly recommend this player. Hide Full Review
