the sims is an very good game for children that teaches them responsebilty and much other things.i bought this game on ebay for $26.00 and here it's a rip off. but the game is super awsome!it's for all ages except 7 & under :( .you make your own people house,and decorate things like your room your house your back yard, ect.this is a very popular game because in best buy they were selling this game for $50.00 .My cousin has both game "the sims" one of them on his P.S.2 he told me that, that one is o.k. but the P.C. sims is the best, he told me that you can even drive a car there, and it's much more better than the P.S.2 cuase i heard it's very realistik, to real life. This game met up to all my expectations and is worth all the money. It is easy to learn, a lot of fun and is also highly replayable. Beginning the game is simple, design your Sim family with each Sim having a customizable personality and look. Then, it's on to building your house. Of course, your Sim family's budget is limited, unless you use cheats, which might ruin the game, you will have a basic house with simple furniture.

Managing your Sims and getting more money is the challenge and fun, the Sims are like real people, having needs, etc. Misfortunes are possible but add extra challenge to the game. It has excellent graphics (I believe superior hard-core modern 3D isn't important or needed for a game like this). The game features nice sounds and a delightfully entertaining "Sim Langauge", you'll have to rely on thought balloons. The expansion Living Large is installed with the game which adds extra features and touches. With this edition, the Sims Creator is also included which allows extra customizing.

Overall: This game is highly recommended for those new to it, but to those who have played the original, you should not expect anything substantially new aside from a few gameplay changes and a lot of extra items. Hide Full Review
