The 5 Mega-pixel high-resolution digital camera with Samsung SHD lens Digimax A50 provides 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. For clearer sharper movies, the DIGIMAX A50 uses a high compression, high quality movie clip format, and movie clips are supported in VGA (640x480) at 30fps. With VGA (640×480), you can play a movie clip on your TV without any image quality degradation, and enjoy it on a large screen of a computer, whose size is twice as large as the existing screen.

The DIGIMAX A50 provides a camera shake prevention function to avoid camera shake during movie recording. This function detects camera shake automatically and traces the target subject when recording a movie.
