Scan slides, film strips and photos in full color and detail with Hewlett-Packard's PhotoSmart S20xi scanner. This 36-bit personal film scanner has an optical scanning resolution of 2400 dpi for 35mm slides and film strips, 300 dpi for photos. Photos can be up to 5 x 7 inches in size, and the film strips can be positives or negatives. Create panoramic images by scanning up to five frames at once, or scan multiple separate images from a strip in one operation.

Broderbund The Print Shop Photo Organizer software lets you create slideshows and organize image storage for quick retrieval. Microsoft Picture It! 99 provides the tools to rotate and crop images, fix bad results such as red-eye, or create special effects. The PhotoSmart S20xi is compatible with PCs running Windows 95/98, and uses a USB interface for easy installation.
