In addition to enjoying prerecorded DVDs and CDs - it also plays CD-R/RW recordable CD formats, DVD-R, DVD-RW (video format), SVCD, VCD, MP3 and WMA, JPEG and MPEG-4 (Simple Profile) formats. The XV-N422S is packed with many exciting features such as Express Play Start, Disc Memory Resume Function for up to 10 discs, Vari-Play variable speed playback with sound and subtitles, Variable and Slow Search, 3-Step Zoom Play, One Touch Instant Replay and Resume (Bookmark) function. Coaxial digital audio output with Dolby Digital and DTS pass-through is provided for easy connection to any system.
