The Kenwood Fineline HTB-S610 eliminates one of home theater's biggest hassles: wiring the surround speakers! The Future Ready wireless surround speaker system uses separate RF transmitter and receiver units that eliminate the speaker AC plugs found on conventional wireless speaker systems. This allows the HTB-S610 to incorporate higher-quality surround speakers that are sonically matched to the front speakers, creating a more spacious, realistic surround soundfield. The separate RF receiver unit has a built-in digital amplifier for the surround speakers, which dramatically improves sound quality over conventional wireless systems, and it can be used up to 100 feet away from the transmitter. The HTB-S610's A/V reveiver has a maximum surround power output of 100 watts x 5, and provides Dolby Digital EX and DTS-ES surround for life-like movie sound - and it's perfect for your music, too. Dolby Pro Logic IIx transforms ordinary 2-channel music sources like CDs and FM radio into 7.1-channel sonic spectaculars! Active EQ matches the receiver's performance to the system's five speakers (left, center, right, and two surround speakers) for maximum impact and detail, and the powered subwoofer's built-in 100-watt amplifier and 6-1/2" woofer provide the explosive bass sounds that add depth and drama to movies. The receiver's coaxial and optical inputs provide high-quality connections for digital components like your DVD player and satellite tuner.
