Unlike traditional rear-projection units or CRT monitors, the RT50X weighs considerably less (103 lbs.) and does away with the need for bulky cabinets. It can be set up on a tabletop or a cart for portable applications where sharing display equipment is essential. The unit can be permanently installed with the optional mount or even placed into a recessed opening. And with such a large display area, the RT50X can be used as a primary display device, or as a compliment to your other display technology.

The rear projection design allows the RT50X system to be impervious to screen image burn and perfect for environments with high ambient light conditions or wide viewing angle requirements. The extensive front and rear panels enable connections to the latest PCs, Mac, DVD, VCR, document camera or other input equipment.
