Question and Answers

S a r a h Is the Oregon Scientific PV100B Digital Camera, have good picture quality etc...Is it a good buy? - S a r a h
Best Answer: I would say no, since it lacks an optical zoom and for the simple fact it is made by Oregon Scientific. Typically digital cameras made by Oregon Scientific don't have the best lenses either resulting in adequate but not stellar images. If you are looking for something right around the same price range I would go for a Canon A410 which features 3.2 Megapixel resolution and has a 3x Optical Zoom at $130 is a better value and is a much better camera than anything Oregon Scientific can crank out, http://www.abesofmaine.com/viewproduct.asp?id=cnpsa410 - conradj213
Conrad is right about the lenses of those type cameras. The bottom line is stick with cameras made by camera companies, not cameras made by computer companies. Lenses are MUCH more important in a camera than the computer part. Go with Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Minolta, Pentax, Olympus, etc.... - Floridaman
