Best Answer: try the magellan eXplorist series...if you can spend three hundred, I would recommend a Magellan Roadmate 300R. I got one for my birthday and its awesome. It has voice capabilities, color screen, and is fully upgradable. Lets say you live in the western united states and don't travel to the east coast. You only need to buy the one with the western united states on it (this is the one I have) but if you need the entire US and Canada it can be purchased for $199.99 for the SD card. My dad got me my Roadmate 300R at WalMart. Good luck! - unlvraptor
