Hiding Number On "Telephones Display"? -

When I call firend, Can see my number on his display.
Could you please give me some "Code" for hiding number.

- Best Answer: To keep your number from showing up requires telling the telephone switch to not present it. Not all switches work the same way, but previous responder has given a typical method. However, it is not necessarily wise to do this; friend may not pick up the phone if the caller is not identified. I have my answering machine programmed to reject unidentified calls, as I want to know who is calling before I pick up the phone. - rhsaunders
