Ok this is what you must do. It is so simple a child can do it. So a moron like you will have no trouble. First you must buy the printer cartridges. Second you must open the boxes, and take out the cartridges from the boxes. Next open the printer. After you do that take out the old cartridges. The final thing is take the new cartridges and put them into the printer. After that is done take a hammer or any blunt object and pound them hard into the printer to be sure everything is in working order. Finally close up the printer you are done. - wiz_on_line
Go online to www.hp.com, and click on "support". Get in touch with them, they'll help. Also, you could call an electronics store near you, and ask to speak to someone in that department. they should be able to help you. - contour

I was frustrated with the instructions too when I got my computer and printer in May. Open up the printer cover. Then push th cartrige up and out, and it should pop out. It takes some practice but after that, it's pretty simple to do. - penpallermel
