New Phone for Home? - Timothy I'm currently looking to buy another phone. It seems that these phones just don't last long. I've had V-tech, I now have GE 5.8 Ghz. I like it. Thought I sometimes cannot hear some people on the phone. It's just certain ones. Is the a better company and something stronger to purchase? Something that is higher than 5.8Ghz?

Best Answer: If you are in North America, which I guess you are by this whole 5.8Ghz thing and V-Tech then: Panasonic seem to have the best build quality and I have to say I have been very pleased so far. I'm not a fan of V-Tech at all, after all they are a budget brand. Take a look at the KX-TG5566 - the_big_v
