Question and Answers

allysonswonderland Help, why does my DVD play the sound on video 1 and show the picture on video 3? - allysonswonderland My new tv (insignia ns-ftv27) has 4 sources: avt, video 1, video 2, and component (which I assume is video 3). When I try to watch a dvd the sound comes up under video 1 but the picture comes up under component (or video 3). They need to be under the same one...like video 1. How do I fix this?
Best Answer: you're connecting the audio out from your DVD player to the wrong input to the TV. Check the audio input beside the component (video 3) if the audio cable (the red and white cable) is connected in the same box as video 3. - Mike
Your audio and video cables are not in the proper input jacks. Go behind your TV and make sure that the audio and video cables for your DVD player are both plugged into Video 1. - Sea Bass
You obviously have the audio connected to the wrong input. If you can't tell which is the correct one just keep trying a different one until you find it. - tvreaper2006
