OVER CLOCKING HELP EMACHINES t3406? - CHAGO i need help on overclocking my emachine it has a intel celeron 340 processor and the mother board type is a HAZELTON D865GVHZ i heard that emachines loaded it withe its own bios

Best Answer: You can safely overclock this CPU through the BIOS as long as you provide adequate cooling. Add two to 3 case fans and a new CPU fan. Your RAM might also be overclocked in this process. You can buy heat shields for ram modules now. - S.H. Rooms

I am an educated tech and I highly suggest never to over clock. It lowers the lifetime of products , voids warranty , and may cause other problems and still the benefit is not away not good. And yes Emachines suck ditto. - Sarah

I used to have an Emachine. Its easy to overclock it and stress the processor. Just hit the power button and turn it on. - the master of truth

Mine has it in its bios, hold down delete while booting and should be in the options - Wyatt
