Question and Answers

Sage B Best way to play iPod in car? - Sage B I currently use a cassette adaptor but might be buying a car that doesn't have a cassette player in it. All I have heard about the FM transmitters is how trashy they are and they run through batteries too quickly. Any other suggestions?
Best Answer: We tried the FM transmitter. In massachusetts there are too many radio stations very close together on the dial. Lots of static and bleed through noise from neighboring stations. Call a dealership of your car make and ask the service department how hard it would be to plug into the current stereo. I have read that when you open the dash and look at all the wires behind the radio, there is one you can use to plug in an iPod. Talk to someone who knows your car and what's in the dash. - Joyce T
i have an fm transmitter and it runs fine does not use up battery quickly. also if you can get an aux line put into your new radio or get a car radio that already has an aux is great. - lareyna37
