Question and Answers

Jacque Is it okay to use refill kits for inkjet printers? - Jacque I have a lexmark.
Best Answer: I use Universal(tm) brand, sold at WalMart, and it works fine. Though the instructions say to add head cleaner to the cartridge after a couple refills - DO NOT - it ruins the quality of the print. Otherwise it works great. It's definately cheaper than buying new cartridges! The good thing about Lexmark printers is the print head is on the cartridge, so if it dies you don't kill the printer. Note: sometimes blue clogs - just soak it in head cleaner for a couple hours. - Delete Me I Hate Yahoo Answers

Its Ok as long as you have a good quality ink. But even then there will be a slight deterioriation in the print quality - QA Guy
