Best Answer: Both have great clarity, but hd-dvd is going away, so go blu-ray. Add-on thought. Blu-ray can store more data on a disc than an hd-dvd, by a substantial margin. - gman_62
Technically the resolution is the same. Specific hardware on either platform may yield a superior picture however. But as noted, HD DVD is dead. - Rob R
Neither. Both look equally great on current TVs. Why do you ask though? HD DVD isn't being manufactured anymore. - TheaterHelp
Blu Ray does. But really, Ive seen both, and there isn't really much big difference in quality in HD and Blu Ray. - ►黄人◄
