amandaclaffey730 Samsung Camcorder/uploading on laptop? - amandaclaffey730 I just purchased a samsung DVD Camcorder SC-DC173. I downloaded all of the software.. and after I finalize one of the discs, will I be able to edit it in window movie maker? Also when I play the DVD in my laptop it won't let me save it anywhere to my harddrive. Please help :) Its for a school project. Thanks in advance!
Best Answer: Unfortunately, wmmaker does not support .vob files. Convert the vob files to avi or wmv first before import to wmm. Try Prism or Kates (free) - google, download and open - set output folder for converted files - set output format/resolution (avi or wmv) - insert dvd to pc drive - add .vob files - click convert... converted files are saved to pc folder To transfer vob files to pc folder, use file mgmt- Win Explorer - TiddiVisual
