If anybody knows about the Pinnacle Video Transfer? pls. reply? - eagle I just known about this product earlier today and I think I would purchase it, but before I purchase it I would like to be inform of somethings like can I record dvd on it like hollywood dvd's or is it for home videos dvd.

Video editing software are entirely different- these also capture, but only DIGITAL video, plus the capability to edit & author DvD. Pinnacle Studio is one of these. - TiddiVisual

I don't know which Pinnacle system you're asking about, but commercial DVDs have built in copy protection. I doubt that Pinnacle sell anything that breaks it, but there are many downloadable apps that can do it. - iridflare

If its the same system as the Dazzle, best to avoid it. From my personal experience the Adaptec videoh or gamebridge is the best. - jonny w
