Peter S I can't capture my Cam videos on my laptop? - Peter S I have a 2001 Sony Digi-Camcorder (Mini Hi8 tape). I have captured over 30 hours of video to my desktop with no hassle using IE1394 (Firewire). I cannot capture to my laptop using 1394 (Male-female). The laptop doesn't recognise the device! What's the problem?
Best Answer: If your laptop doesn't recognize the device it means the Cam drivers aren't loaded on your laptop - load them and reboot it and it should recognize the cam. - mac_fixit
hi i use adobe premiere pro to edit video and the camera drivers for captur are included good luck - Bryan A
I guess you have to install the hardware/new driver so that your window will reconise it... good luck - MagsyNZ
