You can use some alcohol diluted with a bit of water and a lint free cloth if you don't want to spend money on chemicals and materials. Stay away from ammonia and high percentages of alcohol if you choose to use chemicles. Be gentle when you wipe the screen and god forbid make sure the computer is turned off. You can go to the grocery store and they will have sprays for electronics usually too. Try Pledge for electronics, I love it! - KiKaButtKing
There are actually laptop screen cleaning materials out there. These would be the best thing to do, your supermarket will stock them I bet. - ch3rriee
you can actually buy special wipes at most computer stores designed for use with LCD screens. I would go with that instead of stuff you may have around the house. - Steve F
