⟦кɘʟʟу⟧ Problem with printer - anyone got advice for me? - ⟦кɘʟʟу⟧ Here are the specs for my printer (bought in 2005): http://reviews.cnet.com/multifunction-devices/hp-psc-1510-all/4507-3181_7-31432099.html My laptop (same age): http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/toshiba-satellite-m55-s325/4507-3121_7-31439169.html?tag=specs Since switching from Windows XP to Ubuntu Linux (about three months ago), it's been acting strangely. It will print a job - maybe two - and then refuse to print more, giving me an error like "this printer doesn't seem to be connected," or something like that. I have to reboot to get it to reset and print another job. Yes, I did try reconnecting the printer cable, no dice. It will also print out an extra empty page at the end of every print job, and every time I reconnect it to its power source, it prints out a test page. (Weird?) Is there some patch available that I could get that would fix this, or is it simply a problem with the printer itself?
Best Answer: it could have been the driver that does not support Ubuntu or try checking the printer cable(USB, LPT etc.) - abdul kader s
