alex o can i use a diffrent monitor for my hp computer? - alex o my monitor just died and i want to know if i need to buy an hp one or can i get a diffrent kind that might be chepper ( we are on a low bugget this year) but i dont know if the cables wont fit or if i just wont work please help me out
Best Answer: Any monitor on the market will work, just make sure is have the same VGA or DVI connector as your old monitor. (VGA is a blue connector with 15 pins, DVI is in white with about 25 pins) - tenthousan
