I got a new computer monitor ....I am not able to see icons along left hand side of screen? - raver82 I can't see the icons on my desktop along the left hand side how do I change that? is it somewhere in display properties? please if anyone knows how to fix this, thanks

Best Answer: Open OSD setting on your monitor by pressing a button (bottom right or right side?) Auto adjust the screen if it's LCD, or manually adjust the size if it's CRT - lujooo

If your monitor doesn't have the capability of auto adjusting to your display, you can try manually adjusting your monitor. You will have either a menu button that will pop out an on screen display or wheels that you can turn. What you are looking for are H-size or V-size which will adjust the amount of display Horizontally or Vertically. When you adjust this, you will also will have to adjust the H-position or V-position. In your situation, I would adjust the H-size to a smaller size, then adjust the H-position and center it on the screen, then adust the H-size higher to fit the screen. - Charles

1. install the proper video card driver in your system. 2. if you have auto set button on your monitor, press it and let it self configures to a suitable position. - Harry
