Best Answer: I think a lot of people will be scrambling trying to get it yes. However, AT&T and Apple are now requiring that the phone be activated before you can leave the store with it, so there won't be any buying a couple of phones and selling them on eBay. They have to be activated to the line that's eligible for an upgrade or new line of service right then and there. - clintmax2006

You would probably get the phone for a pretty decent price. And although buying one for a cheap price and selling it for more on eBay sounds like an attractive idea, people won't be attracted to your sell because they won't buy it for more than they can get it directly from Apple or At&t. In my advice, don't do it. - victorsrn

yes. They already are LOL. iPhones are awesome though. I have a 1st generation n I'm not buying the new one. U could do that & probably make some money, its a good idea. - mal.tjb

The iPhone isn't really that new now, but sales have been very low. This is probably because the phone itself cost so much, and then you have to pay a monthly tariff. In the UK, the only provider compatible with the iPhone is O2, whose tariff prices are ridiculous. Not sure how this works in the States, but the sales have been very poor internationally. As for selling one on eBay for a higher price, I would strongly dissuade you against doing this, as people look for a bargain on the iPhone on eBay, the high price craze has been and gone.
