HD How come my laptop can't boot The Burning Crusade? - HD so yeah, how come i can't boot the cd that comes in the box? i'm currently using a Dell Latitude D410, and since its so small, it came with an external cd drive. i popped in the Burning Crusade Expansion Disk, and it seems like its going to work, but then after a while, the light dims and nothing shows up. so then, i tried to go into My Computer, and i double clicked on the "Cd Drve (D:)" and it says that i have no disk in there.
Best Answer: I've never seen an external cd drive, but I would say to check that the CD isn't scratched. Try other CDs to see if they work. If they do then its something wrong with the disk. If the other CDs don't work then go straight to the external CD drive. Go for a warranty or if none you'll have to pay money to get it checked. - xett
