Best Answer: When you buy a computer they are all set to the default US Keyboard. Control Panel > Regional and Languages and on the first page set it to English UK. Set the locality at the bottom to United Kingdom. Apply and OK - sewrobb

1 control panel 2 change keyboard and other input methods 3 click > change keyboards 4 select English - Blue Magic

OS? Did you setup the pc yourself? About a 95% chance it is the regional and language settings, or the pc was setup for a different region than the one you are in. - Detry

You have got your keyboard set to USA not UK, have a look at some settings controll panel or something. and keyboard prefs - James D

Your keymap is setup wrong probably American - SUPER DOOPER ANSWER MAN
