Morad A Help! My headphones did something to the sound on my laptop!? - Morad A I put in my headphones and something happened to my headphones that can only be fixed by moving the thing around (it happens all the time, Im getting new headphone though). But when I moved my headphones up. The sound on my computer turned off, I checked everything and nothing was mute. I can only hear a little bit when I put on headphones, and hear nothing when I don't. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
Best Answer: try taking the battery out for about 30 seconds and restart it.... it may just have some static build up... thats what fixed mine when i could only hear with the headphones but not the speakers - UNCCHgirl
Is it possible that you busted your speakers somehow? I accidentally did this one day while being unaware that my computer's volume was turned up all the way before I put in the headphones. Once the headphones were plugged into my computer and on my ears, I pressed play to whatever I was trying to listen to. With the unexpected blast of sound that followed, I managed to bust both the headphone's and the computer's speakers, which happened when I ignorantly ripped the headphones out of the computer to stop the loud sound sending the blast of sound then to my computer's speakers...brilliant, huh? - Elbie
