My dell inspiron 1525 keeps freezing, i dont know why??? windows vista basic? - Anthony M Hi, I have a dell inspiron 1525 with windows vista basic as my OS. I have just gotten my laptop 2 months ago, and it freezes about every 10-15 mins. It used to work perfectly and at light speed. Sometimes i get this weird blue screen, that says something about my hard drive and to contact an administrator. Also sometimes when it freezes and then i reboot, it says something about my memory. Also can too many processes be slowing my pc down. Has anyone had the same problem and what should i do? Should I use my warranty to get this fixed, and what are the steps of using my warranty? Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Best Answer: Looks like a hardware problem. What exactly is the Blue screen error (can you post the exact error message)? To get it fixed under warranty, just Call DELL and tell them your problem. They will arrange to pickup your notebook or send someone to your house (depending on your warranty contact) - Phoenix

I have the same laptop, but have never had problems with it. You should look at the instruction booklet or call 1-800-624-9896 (i know it's american but it's all i could find at the moment) hope you get your laptop to work. x - kirzi97
