Should I buy an Ipod touch or build a new pc? - bigm2793 OK well I'm facing a dilemma. I am getting at least $350 for my birthday, most likely $400+. I am not sure whether to buy an Ipod Touch or build a new PC. In both cases I do have a need for one, I am just not sure which is a greater need. I need an Ipod touch for traveling to my job which is a half hour away on my bicycle and for working out at the gym. I need a new computer because my Toshiba Satellite A205 notebook is starting to go and I am not sure if it will be able to survive until Christmas when I get my next batch of money. The computer seems like a more obvious choice but can I even build a decent gaming pc for $350-$450 or should I just get the ipod and pray for the best?

Best Answer: if you are a techie person is ok to build a pc if not get the ipod touch your laptop should go for another 2 years before anything happens just cleanit regularly it will do ok until you can afford a new pc good luck - FraN D

i think u will purchase a new pc right now it is very useful for u now & in the future also i think u like ipod. but pc having internet very helpful to u and ur friends & relatives but the use of ipod is only for entertainment. so,my sincere advice is don't waste money ........ - amruth

Go for the computer. You can get a decent one for around there. When you get more money you can work on your computer until it meets your requirements for gaming - Snow

A gaming PC for $400 is almost impossible, just get a one from a store. I would get a PC instead. - Hijr21
