Navy G what do you need to hook up my PS3 to a monitor? - Navy G its a 40GB PS3 and a Samsung 2253BW 22" Widescreen Black Flat Panel LCD Monitor. Ive been told that a VGA box is something needed. Please help :(
Best Answer: According to the Samsung website, your monitor supports RGB and DVI inputs. Thus, you'll need an HDMI to RGB or HDMI to DVI converter. DVI looks better, but costs more. Alternatively you could get composite to RGB/DVI, but I don't know if that even exists. Composite is a low-quality signal, whereas DVI and RGB are higher. HDMI is the best quality, but your monitor doesn't support it. Go to circuit city or something and tell them that you need an HDMI converter, they'll show you where. It's not anything huge, probably cost you 10 bucks or so. - I'm a great person
