Paddington How can I find how much hard disk space my computer has available? - Paddington I can go into my computer and then find the RAM and I can also go into the disk defragmentation setting and find how much disk space is free, I currently have 91% free, but I don't know where to find how much hard disc my computer had to start with to know how much in MB I now have available. I need to find out as I wish to install a printer. Thanks for any help you can give me and if possible could you please keep it simple as I'm not a youngster and I'm only just learning a bit a time so very tecnical will go over my head - thanks.
Best Answer: 91% free space is tons! But to find out exact info, double click My Computer, click once on your drive C with the left mouse button then once with your right mouse button and chose properties. It will show you a graph of your hard drive with all the info. - Computertek - Orillia
Hello Dear, Open your Desktop. Double click on computer icon, when it open you see your hard disk drives, Right Click one of them and choose his properties. You will see How much space you have utiliesed and how much space free. - Ravinder Singh R

Go to My Computer and click on the Hard Drive icon ONCE. On the right, there should be a menu with the headers "System Tasks," "Other Places," and "Details." "Details" has what you are looking for. - Zee
