Juan Diego B why iphone doesnt have a camcorder? - Juan Diego B even with the new iphone 3g its still doesnt record video, i mean whats apples problem!?
Best Answer: "If the phone was perfect, what would be in the next release?" What a lame excuse for the iPhone's shortcomings. "Apple, it's okay that you didn't include video recording, MMS, voice commands, and Bluetooth file transfer/modem tethering, all standard features on other phones, we forgive you. Perhaps next time, you could just include a cut-and-paste function, and every year after that we'll line up in front of your stores and wait for the one that has MMS, and then the year after that, voice commands, and so on. Don't fret about including video recording, because we know it's very advanced technology and we wouldn't want you to stress yourself. Maybe if you can figure out a way to incorporate 1x1 pixel 1 fps video recording by 2015, our current iPhones will have died and be useless by then since we can't replace the batteries so we'll naturally have to buy the *new* iPhone. Leave it to third-party developers not supported by Apple to actually get stuff done. Turns out the iPhone camera *is* video capable, it just didn't have an encoder. So these companies created one: http://newteevee.com/2008/06/12/qik-iphone-was-video-capable-all-along/ The iPhone is a wonderfully designed phone and the OS is great as well, but the problem with Apple is, they often leave people wanting their standard features back. And I guarantee you that 90% of iPhone owners aren't even close to using the iPhone to its full potential; it's become a look-I-have-an-iPhone-and-you-don't sort of deal. Most people don't care about the features; in my experience with Apple, their products, and my friends who have Apple products, the only reason they even buy Apple is because it makes them "different." So 3 million people buying the iPhone doesn't say anything about the fact that Apple left out standard features. And even the new apps from the App Store won't be able to take advantage of the iPhone's full power. And knowing Apple and its thirst for complete control, it's going to be a while before the good stuff comes out. - evilgenius4930
From the 3 million+ people that bought it - perhaps that is not a big deal... If you don't like it, don't get it. If the phone was perfect, what would be in the next release? - Nu'uanu
