dfasdfs Activate Sidekick Slide Again? - dfasdfs I had a sidekick, but it was stolen a week ago. And recently I got myself a new SIM card and a new sidekick. I charged the sidekick for 12 hours like it said. And when I inserted the SIM card onto the sidekick and turned it on. It shows " Waiting for activation " Does that mean I have to pay for activation fee again? Do I really have to wait 48 hours? I called T-mobile, but they transferred me to like 3 different departments.. That's why I decided to come here. I didn't experienced this on my old sidekick because it was already activated when given to me.
Best Answer: It usually starts working in less than 48 hours. No, you don't have to pay again, it's just waiting for your Sidekick feature to register on the Sidekick network. It's a little weird that you'd have this after a lost/stolen suspension (I assume that's what you did, anyway.) Maybe you already know this but you can push Menu-L to skip the "waiting for activation" screen to use your phone and texting in the meantime. - anna d
go into the store where they sell phones and all that and theyll activate it there and yes itll probaly cost money cause its the phone that needs to be activated. - Shay
