Question and Answers

Chuck Norris Does an HDTV tuner let you watch digital tv? - Chuck Norris
Best Answer: It's not an HDTV tuner. It's a digital tuner. "Digital" and "HD" are not the same thing. If you're talking about a converter box or new TV set purchased recently in the U.S., they all have digital tuners for receiving the new digital television (DTV) channels over the air with an antenna (OTA). So yes, they will let you watch digital TV from any source, OTA, cable, satellite, etc. Be aware that with one of the inexpensive converter boxes, the input is the OTA DTV channels, but the output is analog. It's intended for use only with an old analog TV. - kg7or
