aftermarket light accessory and car hookup? - neogeo i want to hook up possibly 2 neon light bars in the inside of my car. just for a fun view during night time driving. i want to buy 2 neon bar which both comes with its own car cigarette adapter (12volts). i don't want to take up 2 socket just for the lights, is it possible if i strip both the ends off and connect them together as a parallel to one cigarette adapter? will this method make the neon lights less dim? thanks in advance

Best Answer: Yes you can use one plug for both bars. Just have to make sure plug rating is adequate and amperage is high enough for the socket you going to use. Just match the positives and negatives and put the plug on. As long as your amperage is below the socket rating than there should be no dim issue. -
