Question and Answers

loulou I bought a digital camera from Argos last Saturday? - loulou but during the week it just stopped working - won't turn on! Have tried different batteries and gone online to the Kodak website troubleshooting thingy. I am going to take it back to Argos as it's obviously faulty, but have lost the receipt, plus i paid for it in cash. I have all the original packaging, plus there's a ticket thing stuck to the box with the camera's barcode. Will I be able to get a replacement or repair done??
Best Answer: Hi Loulou, Bring it back and explain to them what happened, the barcode is sure to tell them that it's from an Argos batch. If they have any pr nous they are sure to use their discretion and give you the benefit of the doubt. If they don't, let us know here by adding details to this question or by posting a new one. We'll take it from there. -
buy another one, and return the broken one in the new one's box with the new one's receipt. - Franman
syou can just go and inform to the shop and inform about the date you have purchased the camera. they will be having records of customers. so that you can explain to them and you can claim for the new camera.hope this might work - priyan_darkrider
You'll probably need the receipt. No harm in trying though
