Question and Answers

some_nerd How do I get certain files to be saved into certain folders automatically without me having to move them? - some_nerd I use Mozilla Firefox and Limewire and I want to make it so that when I download music files (MP3 ETC) they automatically get downloaded into a certain folder (my music folder) instead of the DESKTOP. I only want MUSIC FILES to go into my MUSIC FOLDER not documents, videos, pictures etc. How do I do this? Is it possible???
Best Answer: Don't think so dude. I think that the only way to do this is to do it manually for each file you download. For instance when you download a music file, before you do it, set the destination folder by clicking Tools, Options, Main. You then have two options under downloads. Either set the download folder for all or set the option to be asked whenever you download something. Then just make a choice. I don't think Firefox can do it automatically. Would be good though. Maybe there is some plugin out there somewhere that does the job. Hope that helps a little. -
