I need a computer case...please advise? - muffin this is my specification.... Quad core 2 Q9550 processor Asus P5Q Deluxe Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard xfx ati radeon HD 4870x2 2048mb graphics: £219 ex.vat - novatech.co.uk 4GB DDR2 800 RAM cpu cooler Zalman CNPS9900 LED corsair VX 550W cmpsu-550VX ATX2.2 PSU Western Digital Caviar RE2 320GB 16Mb Cache Hard Disk Drive SATAII 300MB/s <8.9ms 7200rpm. ....will this SATA2 HDD work with my motherboard, im not sure!? however i do not know which case i should choose? please could someone tell me which case would be good for this build (obviously all of the components have to fit) I did look at this one: Antec Three Hundred Case - Black - No Psu will this one work..it looked as if the ports did not line up with my motherboard? please advise, and where possible please attach the websites. many thanks in advance

Best Answer: Antec is good. ATX is atx. Personal experience with them, my rig stays cool, around 60 deg under load (crysis)! Case (interior) design is excellent with no cables in the way. Good stock fans and room to upgrade. Yeah don't worry about having no PSU in there, this gives you a good chance to get a psu to power that card! VX 550 is a good choice. And I'm sure that hdd will work with the mobo. -

A case is a case. ATX is a standard size motherboard and cases come in ATX and Micro-ATX. The slots on the motherboard will line up. SATAII is a standard and any drive will plug in. I did notice the hardware so I would recommend you get a case that has at least one fan to blow out the heat. - gjcooper1960
