Best Answer: Not to big of a difference maybe a 10-20 percent increase. In the The G-Force series It would first be GTX 300 right now the most powerful card. Then the GTX 295, 285,275 then the gtx 260. The nvidia G-force 9800GT is slightly weaker than the 9800 GTX. The GTS 250 is a rebadged 9800 GTX. The key difference between the two is the gts needs less power. It does the same work as the the 9800GTX but its not a power supply hog and won't take as much as out of your system. - Elmo Gets Girlzā„¢
it would be a small difference, maybe 10-15% faster on a good day. - yawn36271
Very small difference. The GTS 250 is actually the rebadge of the 9800 GTX (see the specs at the Nvidia page and reviews for proof). If you're going to take the leap, at least go for a GTX 275 or SLi GTX 275. Which brand you go with is completely up to you. If you are not bothered with the price, go with Asus, XFX or Gigabyte. Otherwise, there are cheaper brands like EVGA, Sapphire, Inno3d, Palit etc. which give you essentially the same product, just different designs on the card. - MaskedMusketeer
