Question and Answers

how do i copy a cd with one disc reader? - hp pavillion entertainment
Best Answer: Most burning programs can use one drive. The programs automatically create a temporary image file during the automated burning process. The only thing you need to do is switch out the disc you want to copy with the blank disc when the software prompts you to. In most cases it will eject the disc you are copying automatically signaling the need for you to replace it with the blank disc. You can try Nero and Roxio free via there websites. www.nero.com or www.roxio.com -
You will need a burning program like Nero or Roxio. These programs have a "disk copy" feature. It will copy the data from the disk that you want to copy and cache it to your hard drive. You then put an empty CD into the drive and the program will burn the cached data to the empty disk. Or you can do this manually by copying the data from the disk to a folder on your desktop, and then just burn that data to an empty CD. - Ron M
