How do you set up printer sharing between two computers? - I have a windows vista and xp, the printer is connected to the vista. how do i set up printer sharing between the computers? thanks!
Best Answer: You have to ensure first that both the computers are connected and configured with the IP addresses. Then go to xp computer and follow: Control Panel>Printers and Faxes > on the left hand side click on add printer> select a network printer, or a printer attached to another computer>Browse for a printer> show the destination. Before doing this you should go to vista Computer and share that printer following right click of that printer icon. -
simple get a internet cable and plug in the router and printer (if you have a internet port on your printer) then get more cables and attach them to your 2 PC's and put in a ip for the printer and then you can printe with both. - abdul.aldabbagh
