jkherberger Where can I find the date of the videos that I took from my Panasonic HDC-HS9? - jkherberger After I upload them to my PC I can't seem to find the date when the video was taken. I know I can look at the properties menu for a still camera file but it won't work with videos.
Best Answer: You can't! There may be a visible timestamp when you view the video in the camcorder, but the information is being held in a separate file - it's not part of the video itself. Stills have exif data, which includes the timestamp, but there's no equivalent in the MPEG-2 video format use by your camcorder. - Iridflare
